THE LOCATION: Bucharest, Romania
 
THE ROLE
A Technical Writer is a seasoned professional in the field of technical documentation, specializing in virtual software solutions. They excel in structured writing and content organization while maintaining a deep understanding of the product and its users.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead and mentor junior technical writers, providing guidance on best practices and quality standards.
• Take ownership of complex documentation projects, collaborating closely with development, product management, and support teams.
• Innovate documentation approaches to enhance the user experience and address advanced technical topics.
• Oversee the maintenance and evolution of the knowledge base, ensuring its alignment with the product roadmap.
• Create comprehensive documentation for advanced features and integrations.
• Execute the tasks mentioned above efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Provide leadership in documentation strategy and process improvement.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on product knowledge and documentation quality.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• A bachelor's degree in technical writing or a related field, with several years of relevant experience.
• Mastery of modular, structured, and standardized writing.
• Proven track record in creating and maintaining high-quality software documentation.
• Extensive experience with virtual software solutions, including Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware products.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Confluence, Service Now, and other documentation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving abilities for complex technical subjects.
• Excellent mentoring and leadership skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
• Significant exposure to business strategies, market dynamics, and customer needs within the virtual software solutions industry is essential at this level.
