Job Description

Main objective of the job:

  • Leads and is accountable for the performance and results of a dedicated team, supervising all project-related activities.
  • Manages local and international (global) projects/teams from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, quality, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
  • Supervises the activity of all the subordinates involved in the project/ service, provides ongoing support and issue resolution.
  • Gathers, process and documents technical and business process/requirements.
  • Implements SAP solutions and integrations with SAP modules (e.g. MM, SD, EWM, PM, QM, FI/CO) or other systems.
  • Drives process optimisation through best practices (innovation), delivers team and user training to ensure effective adoption and maintain the overall performance.
  • Adheres to internal procedures and reliably completes assigned tasks.

Team Lead attributions and responsibilities:

  • Identifies situations that might alter the quality of the services provided and proposes measures to overcome such situations.
  • Creates, reviews, and updates work instructions, ensuring proper implementation and adherence to procedures within the team.
  • Keeps the Service Manager constantly up to date regarding the activity within the project/service.
  • Prepares and regularly submits reports to the Service Manager.
  • Is consulted on developing the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) concept, on Risk Management as well as on drawing up the project strategy.
  • Monitors the feedback provided by other departments regarding various situations and takes all appropriate measures to correct potential errors.
  • Monitors and interprets project-specific KPIs and individual goals for subordinates, proactively proposing and implementing improvement measures
  • Is responsible for creating the project/service Organisational Chart;
  • Submits monthly attrition reports.
  • Keeps in touch with the client's designated contact persons throughout the project/service.
  • Plans the on-site visits of the clients.
  • Is responsible for the internal escalations (to the management) as well as the external ones (to the client);
  • Prepares and submits regular reports (on a daily, weekly and monthly basis) or exceptional reports, as requested by the client or the management.
  • When necessary, travels to the client's location or communicates with the client via conference calls.
  • Coordinates, supervises and provides support to the subordinates.
  • Constantly monitors and evaluates the subordinates.
  • Periodically organises performance evaluation sessions for his/her team and fills out the evaluation form.
  • Periodically organises feedback and coaching sessions for each subordinate, while proposing incentives and disciplinary measures.
  • Monitors the activity of the subordinates (punctuality, discipline, leave of absence, attendance).
  • Organises and chairs team meetings, in order to inform his/ her team about any internal or external topics that are relevant to their activity.
  • Requests advance payments from the Financial Department (for team buildings, protocol, etc.) and deducts the expenses of the requested amount of money.
  • Approves and has responsibility regarding status at any business trips of his/her team.
  • Is involved in the event of any contractual renegotiation of the running project/service or if certain services are extended/changed.
  • Provides support to the HR department in redacting documents regarding the service activity (job descriptions, addenda comprising performance objectives etc.).
  • Is part of the hearing committee if a team member undergoes a disciplinary hearing.
  • Prepares, checks and if necessary, submits monthly time keeping records to the HR department.
  • Collaborates with the HR department in the recruitment and selection process (providing job profile, creating the recruitment requests, attending the interview, taking the decision).
  • Schedules the team for the regular medical investigations (on yearly basis), as requested by the HR department.
  • Is consulted about the event of contractual changes (salary, position, extension, etc.) as well as regarding over-time and bonus.
  • Collaborates with the HR department for all the required processes.
  • Identifies and submits the training needs of the team to the HR department.
  • Collaborates with the HR department regarding the associate satisfaction survey.
  • Provides the necessary information to the IT department when a new associate is hired (NT user etc.).
  • Opens IT/CI tickets whenever necessary.
  • Requests the necessary equipment and office supplies from the Purchasing Department.
  • Provides support to both the IT and the Purchasing department in the inventory process.
  • Organises periodical Health & Safety sessions with his/her team.
  • Handles requirements regarding ISP/AIM process updates for his/her team – training, filling out forms, annual and biannual verifications.
  • Collaborates with the Quality department in preparing the documents for auditing (internal, C/AU, SO, ISO).
  • Provides support to the Quality department in the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
  • Discusses any queries regarding procedures, work instructions, products and services with the Quality department.
  • Is familiar with and abides by the Integrated Management System - Handbook and Procedures (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety), which concern one's activity.

SAP Consultant (Domain) attributions and responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Design, configure, test, and implement SAP solutions to meet defined business objectives while ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and standards.
  • Drive the adoption or implementation of SAP best practices and innovative features to optimise business processes, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP modules (e.g. MM, SD, EWM, PM, QM, FI/CO) and external systems.
  • Provide ongoing application support, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of SAP solutions.
  • Conduct user and employee (for junior colleagues) training sessions and prepare comprehensive documentation to support knowledge transfer and effective system utilisation.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, process flows, and standard operating procedures to ensure operational continuity.
  • Ensure adherence to organisational procedures and policies within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor, aligned with the scope of the role.

Qualifications

Studies:

  • University Diploma.
  • High school Diploma.
  • Certifications on Project Management areas.
  • SAP Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Project Management Certifications are highly desirable but not mandatory.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Language: English and/ or another language
  • Computer literacy: MS OFFICE.
  • Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA, with knowledge of main SAP processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with integration points between major SAP modules (e.g. MM, SD, EWM, PM, QM, FI/CO).
  • Good understand of project/program management methodologies, frames and practices (such as Agile and Waterfall).
  • In depth knowledge of at least one SAP module (e.g. MM, SD, EWM, PM, QM, FI/CO).
  • Experience in at least one S4HANA project implementation.
  • Able to run requirement gathering workshops, fit/gap analysis, and propose and develop solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to learn new things, be open to challenges, and thrive on success.
