Senior Public Policy Officer
Our Mission:
eMAG's Public Policy team is committed to building a resilient digital economy. We collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, from business associations to governmental bodies, both within Romania and internationally. Our Legal Team tackles a myriad of challenges, from contract drafting to organizational support, while our Sustainability Team guides us toward responsible growth

What Will Tou Bring to the Table?
Your Role: Are you passionate about public policy and digital topics? As our Senior Public Policy Officer, you'll be at the forefront of shaping policy and regulatory frameworks that facilitate the digital transformation of both society and the economy. You'll report to the Head of Public Policy and collaborate with various departments and external partners. While the role offers hybrid working options, our hub is in Bucharest.

What you'll have to do:

  • Educational Background: A Master's degree in public affairs, law, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years in policy, advocacy, or consultancy, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior role.
  • Know-How: A solid grasp of Romanian and EU institutions and political landscapes.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both Romanian and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong analytical skills.
  • Digital Savvy: An understanding or keen interest in the digital transformation of industries.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
