Your new role and environment.

The main responsibilities are facilitating the agile events and processes and guiding the teams in delivering the work and maximizing business value. A Scrum Master advises, trains, and coaches business and IT in the field of Agile working. In addition, a Scrum Master implements Agile methodologies in teams and their environment, increases collaboration within teams and implements innovations to maintain flexibility and adaptability as a department, with optimally functioning agile teams contributing to the organizational objectives.

As Scrum Master, you'll be joining our Data Insights & Analytics department.

The Data Insights & Analytics team is responsible for the design, development and operation of the regional Azure Data Platform and is supporting the local business/brands and IT teams in generating value from their data assets.

Key responsibilities of your role.

Stream Management

• Facilitate the collaboration of a Scrum team, Product Owner, and other stakeholders such as Architects.
• Understand and operate within lean budgets.
• Responsible for the service management while ensuring a high customer satisfaction and effective communication towards business stakeholders and other IT domains.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to provide support in team coordination activities.

Realizing Business value

• Regularly align with stakeholders about needs that will increase customer satisfaction regarding products/systems/processes.
• Guide the scrum team and value streams according to PI (Program Increment) & sprint goals & release plan tailored to business and technical priorities.

Stakeholder and Vendor management

• Provide transparent and timely communication, information and advice to all relevant stakeholders and support related activities.
• Manage dependencies and risks towards other IT departments, for and with all stakeholders.

Organizing and Facilitating Agile Ceremonies

• Facilitates that the team is ready for PI & sprint planning, by promoting and preparing vision and backlogs and by organizing pre- and post PI planning meetings.
• Organize and facilitates Agile ceremonies & events

Continuous improvements & best practices

• Ensure best practices are incorporated into new ways of working.
• Coach and support different stakeholder groups (Product Owners /Teams / Scrum Masters) in the Agile/SAFe framework, best practices, and mindsets.

Requirements.

We think you'll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

• Practice of:
• Agile project management methodology (SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks)
• Agile IT Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master.
• Working experience in standard IT/ITIL processes (change management, release management, incident management, project management).
• Understanding of potential impacts on cross functional processes.
• Aptitude and willingness to acquire the technical vision of the solution.
• Expertise in JIRA or other agile workflow management tools
• Excellent command of Microsoft solutions (Office, Project, Visio).
• Solid experience managing projects, delivering reporting and (optionally) data science capabilities based on Modern Cloud Data Platforms or traditional Data Warehouse solutions.
• Clearly demonstrate expertise in project management, escalation, and process management.
• Experience working in a multinational environment with Global, Regional, Local functions.
