About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Group Security Team to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our infrastructure and systems. Your primary focus will be on implementing security standards, monitoring system and network security, and supporting the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents across the organization's infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the Group Security Team to evaluate and mitigate risks, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration tests.
  • Manage endpoint security solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and SIEM tools.
  • Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or other relevant standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, best practices, and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
  • Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience in implementing or maintaining standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
  • Familiarity with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience with security incident response and forensics.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
