Billing Analyst

Due to the continued rapid growth of the business, we have a vacancy for a Billing Analyst. 

The role will focus on billing our direct customers in the UK, but some global work may be required.

A key part of this role will include ownership of a monthly bill run (which you will then be responsible for using your expertise & training provided to investigate & resolve the customer's query in order to secure payment for the invoice. 

Customer care is essential & therefore, a professional attitude & excellent communication skills are fundamental.

Responsibilities:

• Be the 'Face' of the billing department

• Day-to-day customer queries - taking ownership of cases assigned to you in SalesForce & seeing them through to resolution

• Help improve overall billing accuracy & satisfaction

• Track and report on revenue assurance

• Take ownership of multi-currency customer accounts requiring manual billing by using Excel and formulas to convert rates where necessary before invoicing

• Take ownership of invoices which need manual intervention, such as tracking and adding PO requirements

• Create and maintain process documentation for all billing processes

• Managing contract renewals

• Price changes

• Support wider Billing and Collections teams where possible

• Liaise with third parties, customers and internal contacts & be confident in internal & external meetings

• Investigate recurring billing issues with a view to automate future billing

• Cross-check orders and invoices against contracted terms to ensure billing consistency from contract signing to invoicing

• Calculate and communicate credits to customers

• Conduct billing analysis using multiple systems to help solve customer disputes

• Complete other ad-hoc billing tasks and queries

Candidate Profile:

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong "can do" mentality

• You will be a strong communicator and be willing to interact at all levels of the organisation

• Strong Excel know-how (e.g. V-Lookup, basic formula & Pivot Tables)

• Experience with Salesforce and/or Netsuite would be a plus

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Strong attention to detail

• Must be able to work in a team, but also have the initiative to work independently

• Results-oriented, self-starter who enjoys a challenge and gets things done

• Interpersonal skills and character to build trust and maintain credibility

• Comfortable handling customers in different situations

• Ability to prioritise under a high workload

• Experience in a similar position would be preferred

• Knowledge of Telecoms billing is an advantage
