Job summary

Mission within the API Factory of a French container shipping company. The main activities of the API Factory are:


• API design

• API development

• Automation to ensure the stability, security, and resilience of APIs

• Product Lifecycle, enhancement, and monitoring

• Providing guidelines & best practices

• Exposing APIs to internal and external clients

The API Factory team is composed of collaborators based in France and abroad, including 12 TSN collaborators. Profiles: Governance, Developer, Architect, Technical Leader, CICD/DevOps, Project Manager, Release Manager, Product Owner.

The API-B2B project is a large-scale project with significant impacts, a showcase of the improvement, use and adoption of APIs for CMA-CGM customers and for the internal use of all applications exposed by CMA-CGM related to carrier activities

Job Responsibilities:


• Design & development in JAVA / Spring Boot

• Exchange in day to day with functional experts (governance)

• Deployment CICD with XLR / XLD

• Participation in Agile ceremonies

• Monitoring & Support

Professional Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in JAVA 8 to minimum as mandatory)

  • Spring (significant knowledge)

  • Spring Boot 3 (knowledge)

  • SQL : Oracle

  • JMeter (knowledge) - Junit (strong knowledge)

  • Git

  • API (we use Rest API and Swagger)

  • Insomnia (or equivalent)

  • Java IDE (Eclipse or IntelliJ)feedback

  • B2 level of French or higher.

Would be considered a plus:  

  • Cucumber

  • React

  • NoSQL : MongoDB (ATLAS)

  • SpringBatch

  • Kubernetes

  • XL release, XL deploy (or equivalent)

  • Grafana, Rancher

  • Docker

  • Cloud AWS, to be able to understand AWS Kinesis / lambda

  • ELK (Kibana)

  • Jenkins (as user)

  • Rundeck (batchs)

  • Ability to do reverse engineering (understand aim of dev thought code reading)
