We are seeking an experienced Citrix Engineer to join our Technical Solutions Delivery team. You will be responsible for migrating and merging legacy Citrix environments, as well as upgrading existing platforms to the latest releases.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a critical project in a dynamic environment, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable Citrix solutions.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Migrate and merge legacy Citrix environments into consolidated, updated platforms.

  • Upgrade existing Citrix environments to current LTSR versions.

  • Manage and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (6.5 to current LTSR).

  • Configure and maintain Citrix Provisioning Services.

  • Work with Citrix Federated Authentication Service, Workspace Environment Manager, Licensing, StoreFront, and Director.

  • Manage hosted shared desktops as well as VDI environments.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application installation and compatibility issues in multi-user environments.

  • Organise and support end-user migrations between Citrix environments.

  • Collaborate with specialist team members to drive technical issues to resolution.

  • Produce technical documentation as required.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES DO I NEED?

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix products and technologies.

  • Strong expertise with:

    • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

    • Citrix Provisioning Services

    • Citrix Federated Authentication Service

    • Citrix Workspace Environment Manager

    • Citrix Licensing, StoreFront, and Director

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and interoperability with switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Knowledge of Citrix Netscaler (advantage).

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Windows and VMware operating systems.

  • Understanding of information security practices in Citrix environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for application installation and compatibility issues.

  • Ability to own technical issues and resolve them independently or with team support.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Professional attitude with reliable attendance and high-quality delivery.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, clients, vendors, and customers.
