Senior Power BI Developer

Overview:

We are seeking our new BI Developer to join the Axway team If you are an experienced and highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer who can translate complex data into actionable insights, while also taking ownership of BI solutions from development through deployment, we want to meet you. The ideal candidate will have hands-on, in-depth experience with Power BI, data modeling, and a strong business acumen, coupled with the critical soft skills that ensure high-quality solutions.

The data source is mainly based on the global Axway CRM (Salesforce and other related tools) in progress also to build data integrations with the new data layer, based on data warehouse, data lake and big data technology.

Responsibilities:

You will be a member of the CS Operation team - an international, distributed and multicultural team, under direct supervision of the local management, focused on:

• The development/maintenance of the Business Dashboard as part of the Company Global MS Power BI reporting system;

• Join workshops or 1-to-1 interviews to hear business problems first-hand, ask clarifying questions, and capture detailed acceptance criteria you'll later build against;

• Investigate data discrepancies, reproduce issues, explain root causes, and propose fixes, keeping users informed of status and expected resolution times;

• Experiment with new BI features and share findings in team demos;

• Being able to work directly and communicate with top management, like VPs, GMs or even the CEO;

• Familiar with Oracle database and SQL query
• Participate together with the team to the analysis, use case creation of certain specifications and brain storming;
• Ability to handle sensitive data with high confidentiality;
• Participate to the QA and report validation;
• User oriented attitude and skill;
• Ability to guide, coach newcomers of junior team players;
• Team working, based on Quarterly Objectives.

Qualifications:

Must have:

• Good Power BI experience or similar;
• Good practice on Excel advanced;
• Experience on CRM and ticketing systems;
• Familiar with ETL techniques and tools;
• Very good business analysis experience;
• Ability to work in virtual teams – remote, as well as being able to travel.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the Service business domain on-premise and cloud based – is appreciated.
• Experience in Snowflake SQL or similar
• French language basics – is appreciated.
