We are looking for a skilled Senior Linux System Administrator to manage and maintain our company's Linux-based infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our systems, while working closely with development, networking, and security teams. You will play a key part in troubleshooting, optimizing, and implementing new technologies to strengthen our IT environment.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, servers, applications, and related technologies (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP)
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and virtualization technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems, servers, and applications
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Monitor performance, security, and system capacity; take proactive measures for optimization
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new systems, applications, and tools
  • Stay updated with emerging Linux technologies and propose improvements
  • Work with private cloud environments, including application deployment systems, load balancing, and monitoring
  • Write and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures
