Job Overview

The Carrier Specialist is responsible for successful carriers' implementation and maintenance, ensuring that the company has a best-in-class courier library (currently approximately 220 carriers, and still expanding). This role involves research, documentation, testing, and providing L2 technical support.  

Key Responsibilities

Research
: Document items for development (new integrations or updates)

Testing:
Coordinate the QA efforts on carrier-related items

Operations:

  • Provide L2 Support for carrier-related topics, including technical troubleshooting issues related to API functionality.
  • Document and Track client issues and resolutions, on carrier-related areas.
  • Monitor the Alerting systems and escalate incidents

Data Accuracy
: Ensure the carrier-related database is up-to-date and serves the clients' business needs.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Communicate with internal and external teams, to troubleshoot performance and functional issues.
  • Be part of the development process (closely collaborate with the product and development teams): Provide courier information as part of items refinement and prioritization, Test features (Q&A).
  • Contribute to the company's knowledge management initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers' engineering and IT teams during implementation and maintenance

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in Technical support
  • API knowledge and experience with Postman (or similar software)
  • Familiarity with service desk software (Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jitbit, ,Freshdesk etc).
  • Industry experience is a plus (Logistics, Carriers)

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in English and Romanian is required, additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Other Complementary skills considered as a plus: Scripting, Technical Writing, Process Improvement, Project Management
