Our client is a global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software provider, specializing in manufacturing and distribution industries. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools to manage business operations, including financial management, supply chain management, and manufacturing execution.

Requirements
Key Skills Required:

Experience: 5+ years in Quality Assurance Engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or Automation Lead role.

Framework Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks for complex, distributed applications.

Cloud & CI/CD: Proven experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) and testing services deployed in a Cloud-native environment (Azure).

Coding Proficiency: Strong programming skills in at least one relevant language (e.g., C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) for writing clean, maintainable, and robust test automation code.

Testing Breadth: Experience automating tests for both APIs/Microservices and modern UIs (e.g., React, Next.JS, or Blazor).

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

I. Automation Strategy & Architecture

Framework Ownership: Define, design, and implement the comprehensive, end-to-end automation strategy and framework for the new SaaS platform, covering unit, integration, API, and UI testing.

Technology Selection: Evaluate, recommend, and manage the appropriate toolset and technologies (e.g., Playwright/Cypress for UI, API testing tools, load testing tools) suitable for a cloud-native, modern tech stack (e.g., .NET, Next.JS/React).

Shift-Left Culture: Champion a "Shift-Left" testing approach, embedding quality and automation practices early in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Performance & Security: Lead the integration of performance, scalability, and basic security testing strategies into the continuous automation pipeline.

II. CI/CD and DevOps Integration

Pipeline Integration: Ensure all automated tests are fully integrated into the CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) to enable immediate feedback and support continuous deployment.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Collaborate with DevOps/Cloud Architects to define and automate test environments, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles within the Azure cloud environment.

Reporting & Analytics: Establish a centralized, high-visibility quality dashboard to provide real-time reporting on test execution status, pass/fail rates, and overall quality health.

III. Leadership and Mentorship

Team Leadership: Act as the technical lead and mentor for the automation team, guiding best practices for code quality, reusability, and maintenance of the test suite.

Collaboration: Work closely with Development Leads, Product Owners, and the Scrum Master to align testing priorities with product roadmaps and sprint goals.

Test Data Management: Establish a robust strategy for automated test data creation, maintenance, and environment masking for multi-tenant SaaS testing.
