How you will create an impact :

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Architect IT/OT/IoT/GCP Networks to design and evolve our global network infrastructure across IT, OT, and IoT environments with a strong focus on cloud integration, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and high-performing network architectures that enable digital transformation, industrial connectivity, and cloud-native solutions across the enterprise.

• Network Architecture & Design

  • Design and optimize enterprise network architectures across IT (office/enterprise), OT (industrial), and IoT (connected devices) domains.

  • Develop hybrid and cloud-native networking solutions leveraging GCP capabilities such as VPCs, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, and firewall policies.

• Cloud & Edge Integration

  • Lead the integration of on-premises and cloud environments with secure and scalable connectivity models.

  • Drive networking solutions that support edge computing and IoT use cases with latency-sensitive requirements.

• Security & Compliance

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to define network security architecture, including segmentation, firewalling, and zero-trust approaches.

  • Ensure all solutions comply with internal security policies and industry standards.

• Technology Evaluation & Standards

  • Evaluate and select network technologies, tools, and vendors that support business and technical goals.

  • Define global network architecture standards and reference architectures in close alignment with IT and OT stakeholders.

• Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to ensure cohesive network strategies.

  • Act as a trusted advisor for networking topics within digital transformation, industrial connectivity, and cloud migration initiatives.

What are we looking for :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture or engineering roles

• Deep knowledge of IT networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching)

• Proven experience with OT networks (e.g., SCADA, PLC, industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC-UA)

• Experience designing networks for IoT use cases and distributed environments

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking components

• Understanding of network security principles and architectures (segmentation, micro-segmentation, NAC)

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
