THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Integration and Data Lake Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data integration solutions and Microsoft's Data Lake technologies. In this role, you will play a key part in building robust data pipelines, enabling advanced analytics, and ensuring that data assets are reliable, secure, and easily accessible to stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration and warehousing solutions to support our organization's data-driven decision-making processes..

OPPORTUNITIES

• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and other ETL tools as needed.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for Microsoft Data Lake, ensuring efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Implement and optimize data warehouse models and architecture to meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Collaborate with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Monitor and maintain ETL jobs and data workflows to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are consistently met.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in ETL, data warehousing, and cloud-based data lake technologies.
• Define data integration standards, best practices, and governance policies.
• Contribute to data architecture, roadmap planning, and strategic initiatives.

Skills

• You should have
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing , data integration and data lake/fabrik.
• Proven expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) – including installation, configuration, and development of complex mappings and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Data Lake (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics) and cloud data architectures.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with big data technologies and processing frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of other ETL tools.
• Experience with data visualization with Power BI.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent English
