Automation Engineer
plays a key role in optimizing industrial processes through smart automation solutions. With hands-on experience in PLC/HMI programming, robotic systems, and integration of intelligent technologies, this role supports the digital transformation of manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the operation of automation systems within the established technical parameters
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation faults
  • Document processes and changes made to automation systems
  • Implement and optimize PLC and HMI programs
  • Perform corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance on automated equipment
  • Perform corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance on Nachi industrial robots
  • Handle commissioning of relocated equipment
  • Provide support in sizing electrical circuits for new projects and developing the necessary infrastructure
  • Propose improvement and optimization solutions in collaboration with the engineering and production teams
  • Provide support for the integration of new automated stations
  • Develop software for industrial robots
  • Prepare the list of required materials for automation projects from an electrical perspective
  • Supervise and verify the execution or modification of electrical panels

Qualifications

  • Higher education in a relevant field: Automation and Computers / Electronics / Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in programmable automation
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation, including programmable controllers such as Allen Bradley / Siemens
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems: reading electrical diagrams, sizing electrical circuits, sensors, solenoid valves, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators
  • Experience working with Nachi robots: robot parameterization
  • Experience with vision detection systems
  • Knowledge of data communication networks, communication protocols, P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics for automation panels, installation/configuration of automation equipment
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • English language proficiency – intermediate level
