We are seeking a motivated Senior Workday Integration Developer to join our Digital Solutions team at Mercer. This role will be based in Romania.
Your mission will be to assist clients in the implementation and support of the Workday solution. You will participate in transformation projects towards the Workday management solution and provide support and maintenance services for this platform for our clients.
Following an initial period of acclimatization to our tools and methodologies, you will assume responsibility for a specific technical domain. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Project Manager or Service Manager to deliver high-value services that meet our clients' needs and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Specialized in consulting, integration, and maintenance of Workday Cloud solutions in HR, Payroll, and Finance domains, Marsh McLennan is the leading global partner of Workday.
We Will Count on You To:
- Take part in Workday deployment projects for our clients.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand their integration needs.
- Lead the design and development of integrations using Workday's integration tools, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Standard Connectors, and Extend.
- Configure and maintain Workday integrations to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and third-party applications.
- Conduct testing and validation of integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing timely support to clients.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and changes for future reference.
- Stay up to date with Workday updates and best practices to ensure optimal integration performance.
- Provide training and support to clients on integration processes and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure successful integration projects.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, IT, physics, mathematics, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar implementation role.
- Strong experience with data integrations and data transformation processes.
- Experience in technical lead roles.
- Experience with XSLT and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer orientation, quick learning ability, excellent communication and synthesis skills, rigor, creativity, and ability to work both in a team and remotely.
- Fluent in English and French OR German.
- Excellent communication skills in Romanian are required.
