Day to day work
Internal "freelancer", working directly with external customers, willing to learn new technologies, participate in a variety of projects, as and when needed. Among the responsibilities (not limited to):
- Design/propose IT infrastructure solutions to various business needs
- Communicate and coordinate with external customers and internal teams
- Take ownership of IT projects and coordinate other users, business partners and support organizations
- Split of technical work vs. project management/coordination: approximately 75-25%
- Prepare technical documentation and solution design documents
- Infrastructure/applications deployment for external customers
- Advanced technical support for various technologies/solutions/services, as needed
- Participate in training sessions of new solutions/technologies, and subsequently train others internally or externally
- Participate in innovative/development projects
- Perform technical work as required and delegated by management
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in server / infrastructure management / systems administration (Microsoft environment)
- Experience with server virtualization
- Understanding of networking/networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of scripting (shell scripts, batch files etc) is a major plus
- Expertise or knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools. Ansible a big plus
- Experience with POS (Point of Sale) devices/infrastructure is a plus
- Technical certifications (Microsoft) is a plus
Language skills:
- Very good English skills written and verbal (able to participate and communicate in meetings and teleconferences in English)

- Hands-on, practical character
- Can work independently but can also function effectively in a team
- Organized, energetic and patient
- Customer-facing skills
- Good communicator
- Willing to learn both technical and non-technical skills
- Willing to travel and work up to 20% of time off-site
