About the position?

  • We are looking for a experienced Automation engineer & manual tester to join Physical Analyzer (PA) group. PA is leading software for investigators and analysts. As the automation engineer and manual QA tester, you will act proactively to the quality of features being developed both using automations and manual testing.
  • You will be responsible for deciding and writing test plans and executing them (manually and automatically).
  • You will work with multiple interfaces including other team members and product managers.

What are your Responsibilities?

  • Design, build and maintain automated testing.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools to ensure product functionality and performanceWriting and executing manual tests.
  • Perform manual testing to validate new features and changes when automation is not feasible and work towards converting these manual tests to automated scripts.
  • Focus on quality deliveries with high performance.
  • Actively contribute to team discussions and quality initiatives to foster a collaborative, high-performing QA culture.
  • Work closely with product in understanding customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum team to define and maintain test strategies, scenarios, and scripts that align with the team's objectives and deliverables.
  • Think critically and creatively to identify testing areas for improvement and provide innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, etc.) and the ability to write, execute, and maintain automated test cases.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including working within a Scrum team structure.Good problem-solving skills, initiative, and analytical thinking to drive quality improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and common version control practices.
  • Good understanding of development cycle and best practices
  • Good communication skills & team player.
  • Ability to work independently and have a proactive attitude.
  • Fluent English
