Oracle Cloud Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer (Oracle Cloud) you'll be working on international, diversified, greenfield projects, ranked from small to middle size.

IT'S ALL ABOUT…

• Design and implement modern, scalable, and highly available solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (experience with other cloud providers is a strong plus)
  
• Participate in development of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures, with OCI as a primary platform
  
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools — for OCI that includes Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, Ansible, etc.
  
• Create and manage pipelines using OCI DevOps service, OCI Code Repositories, external source control integration (GitHub, GitLab etc.)
  
• Monitor, tune, and ensure production environments in OCI are performant, secure, and cost-efficient
  
• Manage tasks in OCI to meet reliability, scalability, and availability goals
  
• Integrate OCI services into CI/CD pipelines as needed
  
• Estimate efforts on projects, potentially talk with clients as well.
  
• Mentor others on Oracle Cloud best practices, promote technical excellence across teams

WHAT WE EXPECT

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps roles, with significant hands-on with OCI
  
• Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python, Bash, Go etc.)
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools including OCI DevOps service, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar; ability to integrate external repositories into OCI pipelines
  
• Deep knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, possibly Ansible or similar)
  
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes, ideally Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)
  
• Strong Linux / Unix system administration skills
• Familiarity with database services (Oracle DB / Autonomous Database etc.), artifact & registry management, observability, logging, monitoring in Oracle Cloud
• Good understanding of security practices, IAM / identity & access management in OCI, compliance, encryption etc.
