PROJECT DETAILS

Our Client is seeking a Junior Product Owner to support our Strategy and Transaction (SaT) Service Line with multiple small-scale digital initiatives throughout FY26. In this role, you will help structure and maintain the product backlog for their emerging delivery team while gaining hands-on experience in product management within a dynamic consulting environment.

• Support the development of digital solutions that enhance our strategy and transaction advisory capabilities
• Assist in managing product backlogs from initial concept through delivery, working closely with senior team members
• Learn to balance stakeholder needs while supporting the technical feasibility of solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different service lines and client engagements

RESPONSIBILITIES

Backlog Management:

• Structure and maintain product backlogs for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring clear prioritization and documentation of requirements under senior guidance
• Stakeholder Communication: Support requirement gathering sessions and help translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain product documentation, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior team members and stakeholders
• Process Support: Assist in implementing Agile methodologies and best practices within project teams
  
  Learning and Development: Actively seek mentorship opportunities and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or project coordination, preferably in consulting or financial services
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and product management tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with diverse stakeholders
• Interest in technology and willingness to learn about cloud platforms and development processes
• Proactive mindset with ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed
• Fluency in English required; German/French proficiency is a plus
• Eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
