Network Sysadmin

General Objective:

As a Network Sysadmin in our client's Support Team you have the chance to acquire knowledge in a new business domain and to grow professionally due to the exposure to many technologies and complex system architecture.

Network and System administration

Required qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelors degree or masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field
• Experience with L2 concepts like VLANs, Spanning-Tree (RSTP, PVST), ARP, etc.
• Experience with L3 concepts such as IP Addressing, subnetting, CIDR, routing, IP Routing Protocols, NAT
• Experience with end-to-end encryption like IPsec, SSL, etc.
• CCNA level knowledge
• Experience with stateful firewalls/security appliances ( FortiGate, Cisco ASA )
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Centreon, Prometheus, Cacti etc.).
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain up to date network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Analyze and redirect problems to correct individuals and teams.
• Write and maintain documentation.
• Test new hardware and software
• Implement changes in multiple environments from development to production.

Preferred qualifications and requirements

• Experience with Linux routing
• Experience with virtualization - preferably with VMware technologies (vCenter, ESXi).
• Experience with remote installation and configuration of servers
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems (RedHat, CentOS, SLES).
• Experience with other (apart from network devices) data center infrastructure components such as servers, storage systems, power and cooling equipment, and cabling

Skills:

• Strong communication skills in English (French communication is a plus)
• Strong understanding of deadlines and commitment to schedules
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast moving target, shifting of priorities and tasks
• Good troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong team player
• Willing to travel abroad twice a year if is need it
