Role description:
This role is part of Arcadis' Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis' offices globally. We are seeking a
Intermediate
BIM Coordinator
:

• For attending Project Team Meetings and communicating with Project Consultants.
• Produce, release and request packages.

Role accountabilities:

• Communicating with the BIM manager on regular basis and provide reports of project status.
• Coordinating clash detection and resolution activities, using Naviswork, ACC.
• Create federated models from different discipline models for BIM coordination activities.
• Provide oversight on workflow within the project and coordinate with BIM Manager to any found issues.
• Support the architects/engineers with issues related to drawing standards and usage of BIM software's.
• Mentor the BIM modellers with any queries they have and to assist with modelling when required.
• Ensure the latest model is always up to date and correctly stored in the collaborative project management system (ACC).
• Able to coordinate with lead architects/engineers and other disciplines.
• Develop skills in managing large and complex BIM Project.
• Perform QA/QC on technical drawing before handing over to the BIM Manager for final checking.
• Able to setup/develop new BIM model projects, maintain workability and efficiency.
• Oversee drawing production that adheres to company/project standard and procedure (ie. BIM Execution Plan).
• Part of Design Coordination team.
• Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with project and BIM requirements.
• Check all members of the project team are following the BIM Standards/BIM Execution Plan/ISO 19650 standard.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Equivalent Courses / Technical Certification relating to BIM.
• Proficient with Autodesk BIM software Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks. At least 3 years of experience working in BIM-related jobs and production role.
• Experience working with BIM Document Review (BEP, Comp Catalogue, LOD), understanding roles and responsibilities, document management processes and standards(naming conventions, shared parameters, asset attributes list, transmittal record, etc.).
• Experience managing BIM models for quality control and review processes, creating and using templates and object libraries.
• Knowledge in the construction field.

Soft Skills:

• Versed in collaboration with consultants, understanding efficient communication and distribution of responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• Excellent time management skills.
