Role Overview
The Associate Identity & Access Engineer is a member of Flutter International security team, reporting into the IAM Engineering Manager.

The Associate Identity & Access Engineer is responsible to support and extend the Identity & Access AWS & Azure infrastructure, to ensure successful implementation of Identity & Access security strategy and implement controls to meet the Identity & Access Security policies.

The role will involve a mix of technical and programming skills like Java development, AWS and Azure knowledge, automation of business processes, system maintenance, SailPoint knowledge and assessment of controls against Identity & Access Security policies.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of automation for access governance business processes
• Identity and Access Management tool maintenance (SailPoint)
• AWS and Azure IAM access governance.
• Add new connectors to the Identity and Access Management tool which require Java, API development and SailPoint knowledge.
• Assess the state of the current access controls against policy and provide pragmatic and effective recommendations to the business so that they can implement improvements to access controls
• Help the business with user lifecycle events processes implementation and maintenance into SailPoint: Joiner / Movers / Leavers, access reviews, Policy Violations.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required

• Good understanding of API usage or previous experience in extending functionality to existing products using APIs.
• Good understanding of OOP with previous experience with Java programming language.
• Good understanding of AWS and Azure cloud services with an accent on IAM, EC2, RDS and S3 services.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement /Continuous Deployment pipelines.
• Excellent engineering mindset
• Disciplined and logical thinker, with the ability to draw conclusions from large and complex data sets
• Delivery driven with a sensible attitude to risk
• Proficient level of spoken and written English (B2, C1) (fluency in English is necessary)
• Process and Service design, automation, and operationalization

Nice To Have

• Previous development experience with Java backend
• Previous experience of developing API projects or extending existing tools using APIs
• Previous experience of SOX controls implementation or good understanding of ITGC controls.
• SailPoint or any other identity and access management tool hands on experience is a big plus.
• Understanding of various IT processes and technologies (cloud, virtualization, databases, networking, software development)
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge and ease of working with security policies and standards
• Good understanding of Data Loss Prevention tools and technologies
• Passionate about technology and display energy and enthusiasm for the Data & Access discipline
• General understanding of information security best practices
• Good verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders
