Your day to day

Contributor

As a Chapter Lead, you remain an active squad member, dedicating most of your time to hands-on work in your area of epertise—whether that's software development, infrastructure, IT risk, or another technical craft.

Maintain a Safe & Healthy Team

Lead the full employee lifecycle, foster engagement, manage work-life balance, and create a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with the Orange Code — all while being hands-on as part of the squad and driving technical ecellence.

Craftsmanship Leadership

Build high-performing, autonomous teams through skill development, coaching, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Keep the Bank Safe

Ensure adherence to ING standards, security controls, and service level commitments.

Core Competencies

Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client-focused collaboration across all levels.

What you'll bring to the team

Education & Background

• University degree in IT or engineering;
  10+ years of IT e- perience, including leadership roles;

Technical Ecellence

Strong engineering foundation with hands-on e

• perience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and front-end technologies;
• Skilled in modern architectures, DevOps, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift);
  E- perience with SRE tooling (Grafana, Prometheus), integration (Kafka, JMS, MQ), testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber), and databases (Oracle, Hibernate, ElasticSearch);

Delivery & Leadership

• Proven track record in designing and migrating web applications, driving project delivery, and leading diverse technical teams;
• Deep understanding of Software Development lifecycle, IT risk controls, and incident management;
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
