The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial and accounting operations in compliance with local regulations, fiscal requirements, and group standards. The role supports month-end closings, statutory reporting, and financial audits, while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (AP, Accounting, Controlling or related field)
  • Solid knowledge of Romanian accounting and fiscal legislation.
  • Strong skills in SAP / S4 HANA and Excel.
  • Fluent in English

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  1. Ensures the accounting records of the purchase invoices and the verification of the accuracy of the accounting records in line with the related supporting documents

  2. Ensures the verification and accounting records (if applicable) of sales invoices, e-invoice reconciliations, e-VAT

  3. Ensures the accounting of fixed assets in line with local, fiscal and group requirements. Preparation of information and active support for the annual inventory and financial audit activity

  4. Ensures the verification of the records of relations with third parties (payment training, collection allocation training, reconciliations)

  5. Preparation of the information necessary for SAFT, D394, Intrastat reporting and reconciliation

  6. Reconciliation of balances of accounting accounts according to the requirements of the group

  7. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual statistical reports

  8. Ensures the verification of the accounting records according to the group rules (e.g., reclassifications according to the USGAAP accounting principles), operational support during the month closings and preparation of specific reports according to the group rules

MAIN DUTIES (and related tasks):

1 . Verification of the registration of purchase invoices, and supporting documents. Provides support and instructions to the Accounts Payable team regarding the correct registration of invoices (accounting accounts, VAT, verification of supporting documents). Reconciliations S4 HANA, E-VAT, E-invoice, D394, Intrastat. Monitoring supplier balances, payment allocation instructions, obtaining tax residence certificates/withholding tax. Other specific duties regarding the correct record of purchase invoices, support during the annual financial accounting audit

  1. Verification of the registration of sales invoices and preparation of information for the processing of sales invoices (if applicable). Reconciliations S4 HANA, E-VAT, E-factura, D394, Instrastat. Range of invoice numbers, record of cancelled invoices. Instructions for allocating receipts (if applicable) in cooperation with the Credit & Collection team. I support the time of the annual financial accounting audit.

  2. Registration of fixed assets according to accounting, tax and group rules. Reconciliations, SAFT. Participation in specific procedures related to the annual inventory

  3. Activities specific to the closing of the month, related accounting records and specific reconciliations, Account balance reconciliations
