Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Embedded Tester
with a strong technical mindset and attention to detail, to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of URBIO's embedded software and hardware systems.

You will play a key role in validating the integration between firmware and hardware components, designing and executing test plans, and ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of functionality and stability.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to define test requirements, analyze issues, and drive continuous improvement in product quality and testing efficiency. You will work in a professional environment that values precision, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.

Required:

·       Basic knowledge of Embedded C, C# or Python languages, knowledge of hardware, and an understanding of real-time operating systems

·       Experience as an automation/embedded tester and manual testing

· years of experience in related field

·       Hands-on experience in writing test plans/test cases suites for a given system/scenario

·       Mandatory advanced English language skills (written and spoken).

·       Strong knowledge of system testing

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems

·       Experience with bug tracking tools and bug reports

·       Experience in creating QA specific documentation

·       Understanding of software development life cycle

JOB DESCRIPTION

·       This role involves a range of testing types, from small-scale unit tests to full system tests, to ensure the final product meets performance requirements and is free of defects

·       Verify the functionality and quality of the software and hardware in embedded systems

·       Run tests suites, regression/confirmation testing

·       Testing both software and hardware combined

·       Performing various test types including testing individual software components in isolation (unit testing), checking how different modules interact (integration testing), and evaluating the entire system's performance (system testing).

·       Ensure the system meets functional requirements and also focus on non-functional attributes like reliability and security, especially for critical systems.

·       Attend needed QA sync meetings with team and developers when required

·       Create documentation, reports that reflect the results of QA activities and tested products

·       Ability to convert requirements and specifications into test cases and define acceptance criteria/expected result for a software product

·       Provide estimates for test planning, test case creation and test execution

·       Identify and recommend areas for quality and efficiency improvements

·       Create work logs and complete online applications with details of daily activities
