We are looking for an analytical and business-oriented Commercial Data Analyst to support strategic decision-making through performance analysis,  data insights and commercial forecasting.
This role bridges financial acumen and business strategy, helping to shape and monitor commercial plans, budgets, and profitability across multiple business segments.
You will work closely with reporting and commercial stakeholders to interpret data, identify data insights, and provide actionable reports to help executive team drive business growth and efficiency.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning & Performance Analysis
 - Participate in the preparation of mid- and long-term plans, budgets, and forecasts for P&L elements.
 - Perform reporting analysis at segment, product, portfolio, and customer levels.
 - Provide clear and detailed explanations of performance drivers, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
 - Collaborate cross-functionally with reporting and Sales teams to investigate business variances and align on performance improvement actions.
 - Ensure effective and timely communication with all relevant stakeholders during planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
 - Analyze performance against plans and targets, identifying deviations and recommending operational and process improvements.
 - Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven performance insights and scenario-based analysis.


Product Data Analysis & Business Decision Support
 - Support decision-making through the analysis and interpretation of data, transforming complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
 - Ensuring deep understanding of product performance and customer behavior across the lifecycle.
 - Conduct research and analysis to define technical specifications for the development of dashboards tracking product and segment-level metrics.
 - Develop tailored analytics models to monitor commercial performance, translating results into product-level P&L and ad-hoc analyses.
 - Drive automated analysis of commercial metrics such as unique customers, retention rates, churn, and ARPC (Average Revenue per Customer), supporting Bitdefender's product portfolio health assessment
 - Build recurring automated dashboards to deliver accurate, actionable data to Operations and Consumer Product Management teams.

Reporting & Automation
 - Create standardized and automated reports and templates on commercial KPIs to support strategic business decisions and forecasting activities.
 - Analyze and present recommendations based on centrally created recurring and ad-hoc reports.
 - Participate in month-end closing activities, including validation of results, variance analysis, and management explanations.
 - Ensure data consistency and accuracy across reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
 - Drive efficiency in reporting processes by leveraging automation and advanced Excel functionalities to reduce manual effort and improve insight delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:
 - Higher education in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
 - Proven experience in financial analysis, business modelling, and forecasting, including variance analysis between budget and actuals.
 - Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with attention to both qualitative and quantitative details.
 - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (complex functions, pivot tables, variance and sensitivity analysis, graphs) and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
 - Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex data into clear business insights.
 - Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
