
Electronics Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Technician, to support the manufacturing, integration and maintenance of systems for space and automotive industries.
In this role, you will be a key contributor to supporting the repair and perform modifications of electronic hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test and inspect electronic assemblies, including PCBAs, harness, enclosures and system-level hardware
- Promptly implement related circuit workarounds to continue with prototyping.
- Maintain the inventory database for the HW units
- Support quality inspections and participate in root cause investigations when needed
- Maintain ESD-Safe practice and ensure proper handling of hardware
- Device assembly and System/Rack integration
- Compliance with IPC certification
Key Qualifications:
- Skilled in soldering, wiring and mechanical integration of electronics systems
- Theoretical electronics background, ideally power electronics (mostly analogue, digital)
- Experience with using measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, DMM, etc).
We expect you to have completed a Technical School Degree or complete training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or electromechanical technician. Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar it's an advantage.
- IPC certification e.g. IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711/7721 is an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft Visio
- Experience with HW testing (e.g. bring-up and functional tests) and system testing according to a test procedure/plan.
Key Personal Competencies:
- Soldering and Rework Proficiency: skilled in SMD and through-hole soldering and hardware modifications per IPC standards.
- Hardware Modification and Repair: experience with modifying electronic hardware including jumping wires, trace cuts and components replacement.
- Test Equipment Operation: proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators and power supplies.
- Schematics & PCB Interpretation: ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, PCB layouts and assembly drawings.
- Device assembly: ability to build a system from scratch according to the documentation.
- Curious and eager to explore improvements in part organization and database structure.
Independent and confident in working autonomously.
This is a full-time position to be located in Brasov, Romania with the planned start date as soon as possible.
