Project Manager – Wind Farm Development

For our client, a leading company in design, management, and infrastructural development of plants for the production of renewable sources and energy efficiency solutions, we are looking for a Project Manager – Wind Farm Development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to land management activities and maintaining relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and local authorities, including preparing and updating technical project documentation;
  • Coordinating internal and external consultants (legal, cadastral, engineering, field staff) and supporting the Senior Development Manager in day-to-day wind project management, assisting with operational coordination tasks;
  • Assisting in site assessments to evaluate land access and infrastructure feasibility, providing input for project layouts and development planning;
  • Coordinating and facilitating the preparation and submission of key permitting and technical documentation (e.g., DTAC, grid connection files, due diligence packages), ensuring proper management of technical, legal, and permitting documents prepared by specialists and consultants (e.g., land files, urban planning permits, contracts, business plans);
  • Updating and monitoring the project implementation schedule (timeline/Gantt), ensuring regular communication with team members to meet deadlines;
  • Preparing periodic reports and supporting the identification of operational risks and corrective actions in coordination with the Senior Development Manager;
  • Participating in operational meetings and meetings with authorities and stakeholders, gathering information and reporting back to the Senior Development Manager;
  • Coordinating with the Construction Manager to follow up on procurement and tendering documentation and deadlines provided by the EPC contractor.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields;
  • 3-4 years of experience in renewable energy projects (preferably wind), with a focus on permitting, land management, and operational project support;
  • Knowledge of permitting procedures and the energy/environmental regulatory framework in Romania;
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact with local authorities and stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with project management and reporting tools;
  • Languages: fluent English; Italian is a plus.
