Senior Java Full Stack Developer
Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, focusing on the development and maintenance of proprietary systems while contributing to the overall quality and functionality of our software solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Software Development & Maintenance
    • Build, enhance, and integrate custom systems using JavaScript technologies (including Backbone, Rivets, ReactJS) and Java (Spring Boot).
  • Quality Assurance
    • Implement and maintain software quality assurance measures, including creating test cases, conducting tests, peer reviews, code reviews, and performing non-regression testing.
  • Requirement Analysis & Design
    • Participate in analyzing and refining functional requirements for business projects, including grooming sessions, design, and technical analysis.
  • Documentation
    • Maintain and update the functional documentation for relevant assets.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Language Proficiency
    • Fluent in French.
    • Strong working knowledge of technical English, with the ability to understand and actively participate in technical discussions.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Proven experience in development and unit testing, as well as integration and integration testing.
    • Practical knowledge of secure application development in the banking sector, adhering to best practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST standards).
    • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, Java, XML, and frameworks/libraries like Spring, Backbone, Rivets, ReactJS, and Redux.
    • Familiarity with tools such as IntelliJ or Eclipse IDEs, Git, Swagger, Kibana, Spring Boot Admin Console, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, Sonar, and Jira.
  • Agile Practices
    • Hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies, as well as continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Cloud Deployment
    • Experience working with cloud environments.
  • Other Tools & Systems
    • Proficient in MS Windows, MS Office Suite, and Teams.
