Full-Stack Staff Software Engineer

THE ROLE: As an Infrastructure Team, we build tools for enhancing developer workflows and provide automation solutions. Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies in existing ecosystems and implement processes/tools to remove them. As a team member you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs, application tools, networks etc.    THE PERSON:  You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, build, test, monitor, manage and maintain toolchains for critical functions.
  • Own and drive improvements to build, simulation, release scripts, tools, and processes.
  • Automate technologies to improve the velocity and quality of engineering efforts.
  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Good knowledge of Kotlin and Ruby programming languages.
  • Basic knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Expertise in Database administration and SQL (MongoDB and MySQL).
  • Proficiency in Gitlab CI/CD (complex pipelines).
  • Basic knowledge of Docker.
  • Good knowledge of web development (React and/or Vue knowledge is needed).
  • Experience with Gradle build system is needed.
  • Very good understanding of the Unix system (RedHat).
  • Background in object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to do a quick ramp-up on large and very large projects.
  • Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • Experience with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools, languages and flows are a plus.
  • LSF knowledge is a plus.
  ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
