Cox Energy is seeking an
Health & Safety Manager
at the
265MW Corbi Mari PV Project.

Position located in
Corbii Mari, Romania
.

The main responsibilities
are:

  • Enforce policies and procedures including management of preventive measures, management of safety inspections, etc.
  • Contribute with the maintenance of the H&S management system in accordance with ISO 45001.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Define and monitoring of the Preventive Activity Planning. (PAP)
  • Preparation of Method statements and Risk assessments and support to EPC in preparation of method statements
  • Define and Implement the Project Emergency Plan.
  • Provide training and information on HSE for employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S procedures and technical instructions. (Safety files management)
  • Accident and Incident Investigation.
  • Coordination of Business Activities.
  • Carrying out periodical controls of working conditions and carrying out hygienic measurements.
  • Participation in Health and Safety and Environmental Audits.
  • Supervision of Work Permits and LOTO.

Requirements:

  • Technical or trade Diploma in related or similar industry plus IOSH/NEBOSH recognized international H&S degree/diploma.

  • 4 years in power/ renewables industry (preferably PV Projects) and construction sector(s) as H&S professional (accumulated)


  • First aid and emergency response certificates.
  • Languages: Romanian (Native) or proficiency level of English.
  • High computer skills (Office, Internet…), and knowledge on HSE audit processes (ISO qualifications).
