Role Overview

As a Senior Embedded Linux Firmware Engineer, you will be part of the Platform Firmware

team, developing the core firmware infrastructure for our AIoT and robotic devices.

You'll focus on low-level software for Embedded Linux platforms, ensuring system

reliability, performance, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with hardware,

manufacturing, and software teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions that

power our next-generation connected products.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, develop, and optimize firmware for AIoT and robotic products based on

Embedded Linux platforms.


• Build, customize, and maintain BSPs (Yocto, OpenWRT, or similar).


• Develop and integrate low-level drivers and kernel modules for new hardware platforms.


• Implement and tune power and battery management features, ensuring reliability and

thermal safety.


• Support board bring-up, system debugging, and performance optimization with the

Electrical Engineering team.


• Develop tools and scripts for manufacturing, provisioning, and system calibration.


• Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and documentation.


• Collaborate with SoC vendors and external partners to ensure optimal system performance.


• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices for maintainable, test-driven

development.

Requirements


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in embedded software or firmware development, with a focus on

Linux-based systems.


• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded development.


• Hands-on experience with Yocto or other Linux build systems.


• Solid understanding of kernel-level development, device drivers, and hardware bring-up.


• Experience with debugging tools (e.g., GDB, JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzer).


• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.


• Good knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
