What awaits you

  • Develop and implement data science models and workflows using simulation tools such as ABAQUS, LS-DYNA or similar to support predictive analysis and design optimization 
  • Collaborate with simulation engineers and domain experts to extract, process, and analyze large volumes of simulation data for machine learning and statistical models 
  • Design data pipelines for cleaning, transforming and preparing simulation data for analysis, ensuring high accuracy and scalability 
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data processes, models and workflows, ensuring knowledge transfer and clarity for all relevant stakeholders 
  • Define and manage data science projects, ensuring deliverables are aligned with usability, accuracy, performance, scalability and security requirements 
  • Analyze and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies in simulation outputs, ensuring reliable inputs for models and decision-making 
  • Develop advanced statistical models and machine learning workflows to optimize system performance and enhance predictive capabilities 
  • Provide expertise and mentorship on the integration of simulation data into data science methodologies, sharing best practices with colleagues and stakeholders 
  • Ensure seamless integration of data science solutions into broader business processes, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization 

What should you bring along

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data science and simulation engineering or related areas 
  • Hands-on expertise with simulation tools such as ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, or similar, and experience processing their outputs for data analysis 
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques, statistical modeling and dimensional data analysis 
  • Strong experience in designing and managing data pipelines, including data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases for managing and querying large-scale data 
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to handle complex challenges involving large datasets and advanced simulations
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) 
  • German proficiency is a plus
