General Job Description

The Admissions Specialist is responsible for recruiting, attracting, and supporting the enrollment of a qualified and diverse student body that meets Tiffin University's academic and strategic goals. This role involves consistent communication, via phone, email, written correspondence, meetings on campus and virtual meetings, as well as the evaluation of applicant files and records.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and support the selection of students aligned with the university's enrollment targets and academic standards.
• Monitor the admissions pipeline for assigned segments (prospects, inquiries, applicants, admits, commits, and enrolled students).
• Execute tailored communication strategies to guide students through the full admissions funnel.
• Represent Tiffin University at education fairs, school visits, and other recruitment events.
• Support the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment/marketing events in collaboration with the admissions team.
• Conduct timely follow-up with prospects via phone, email, and direct mail.
• Act as a liaison with American faculty, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with current students and alumni.
• Prepare and manage admissions files and documentation for incoming students.
• Stay informed about academic programs, university initiatives, and industry trends.
• Participate in internal meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Tiffin University Romania.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Open-minded, proactive, and adaptable.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional interpersonal skills; ability to work with a wide range of individuals and external partners.
• Confident in delivering presentations and public speaking.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
