  • Experience using Kotlin/Java.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Android SDK, Android Internals, Wearable Devices and Graphics.
  • Experience with testing, maintaining, and launching software products.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test high-quality code for watch faces and applications using Kotlin/Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to implement requirements.
  • Debug, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues, including performance and power optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
