ABOUT THE ROLE

HMS Networks is looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with Java, specializing in cloud-based development, to join our team in Sibiu.

You will design and implement scalable back-end solutions for Industrial Internet of Things, leveraging modern cloud technologies. If you're passionate about distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and scalable architecture, we want to meet you

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You design and develop cloud-based back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• You build and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices in a cloud environment.
• You implement serverless computing solutions, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native services.
• You optimize back-end performance, reliability, and auto-scaling capabilities in a cloud environment.
• You work with time series databases (InfluxDB) to perform real-time analytics.
• You ensure security best practices for cloud applications, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• You stay updated with cloud trends, DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance development processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or another relevant technical domain.
• You have proven experience in back-end development with Java and with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• You have a strong understanding of AWS cloud platform and cloud-native services.
• You have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless computing (AWS Lambda).
• You have the knowledge of GitLab CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
• You are familiar with cloud databases and data storage solutions (SQL & NoSQL).
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a distributed environment.
• You are able to work in an agile, DevOps-oriented team.
