About the position

We're looking for an ambitious, energetic accountant to provide comprehensive financial support in a fun, fast-paced environment. As a 100% remote, multi-entity organization, you'll thrive in an async team, building strong working relationships across and beyond the group. You'll work closely with our CEO on accounting and financial controls—from reconciling gaming performance and budgeting to payroll and tax filings—across both traditional fiat and a range of cryptocurrencies.

What you'll do

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple entities; prepare, analyze, and post monthly journals and adjustments.
• Reconcile
  fiat and crypto
  transactions (wallets, exchanges, processors), including fees, conversions, and realized/unrealized gains/losses.
• Support monthly
  payroll
  and maintain tidy records.
• Build and maintain
  cash-flow reports and forecasts
  .
• Manage
  Accounts Payable
  processes and reconciliations in both fiat and crypto.
• Provide clear reporting and explanations to shareholders.
• Prepare
  VAT
  and other statutory filings with external advisors;
  ensure official financial reporting
  to relevant authorities; assist with the year-end audit.
• Ensure appropriate contracts are in place with other entities and are charged appropriately.
• Design and implement necessary
  control processes
  to build a culture of financial responsibility.
• Manage
  treasury
  and control cash flows within the business.
• Maintain and evolve the
  chart of accounts
  ; document processes and improve automations.
• Communicate clearly with leadership and shareholders through concise narratives and numbers.
• Own Romanian statutory compliance
  for our Romanian entity: prepare/submit VAT and other
  ANAF
  returns (D300, D394, D390), manage
  SAF-T/e-Factură
  , coordinate with external advisors, and keep policies up to date.
• Self-organize
  within your area of responsibility.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of Work experience as an Accountant or Finance assistant
• Solid knowledge of
  accounting, ledger, and bookkeeping
  procedures.
• Proven experience with Romanian accounting and tax compliance
  (ANAF filings, VAT, SAF-T/e-Factura), end-to-end monthly close.
• Strong Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling) and comfort working from exports/CSVs.
• Ability to interpret and analyze
  financial statements
  and management reports.
• Proficiency with
  QuickBooks or Xero
  (or similar).
• Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors, ownership mindset, and excellent written English.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience in an international and multicultural environment would be advantageous.
• Cryptocurrency and/or iGaming industry experience is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience reconciling
  crypto
  activity (wallets, exchanges, block explorers) and multi-currency accounting.
• iGaming, fintech, or payments background (chargebacks, payouts, PSPs).
• Exposure to VAT/GST, consolidations, intercompany eliminations.
• Familiarity with tools like Bitwave/Gilded/CoinLedger (or willingness to learn fast).

Our hiring process

  A paid trial project - typically 10-20 hours of work. This provides a great opportunity to understand what it's like to work with each other, prior to pursuing a full time offer.

  A video call with one of our co-founders, either Vlad our CTO, or Laurence, our CEO.
