A Day in the Life
As a Corporate Affairs & Engagement Intern at L'Oréal Corporate Romania, you will report to the Corporate Affairs & Engagement Director and work closely with the CA&E Coordinator, gaining hands-on experience across internal and external communication, while supporting the CA&E team implement the communication strategy in order to develop awareness, build, and reinforce L'Oréal Groupe's reputation over time.

Corporate Communication & Brand Identity

  • Maintain an excellent understanding of beauty industry trends, societal concerns, and culture, along with L'Oréal's Corporate Vision, Mission, Legacy, and products, to sustain the Corporate Brand Identity.

Employee Engagement & Internal Communication:

  • Have an excellent understanding of communication trends and usages in terms of channels and formats;
  • Build an engaging internal communications ecosystem, relevant to the target population (channels, formats, frequency);
  • Co-develop with the CA&E Coordinator the internal communication calendar and action plan;
  • Initiate, develop, and manage internal communication projects and operations;
  • Coordinate various internal communication campaigns led by business functions (e.g., HR, Operations, IT);
  • Offer support in organizing internal communication events;
  • Responsible for developing internal newsletters via group's tools and tracking associated KPIs;
  • Support the CA&E team to be compliant with internal procedures and workflows (contracts etc.)

External Communication & Media Engagement

  • Support the CA&E Coordinator in implementing earned and paid media campaigns;
  • Assist the CA&E team in implementing a yearly communication calendar for media relations activity;
  • Offer support in organizing press events & prepare press releases;
  • Responsible for updating the quarterly global report;
  • Manage corporate website updates and social media accounts (Facebook and LinkedIn), ensuring a comprehensive editorial calendar;

We Are Looking For
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and results-driven individual with a passion for communication, digital trends, writing, and listening. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Brand PR/Management, Business, or a related field, and possess excellent speaking and writing skills in both Romanian and English.

  • Creative spirit with a fresh mind, keen interest in trends, and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities;
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong capacity for storytelling and clear message delivery;
  • Strong networking abilities and the capacity to build and nurture relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders;
  • Good projects management capabilities;
  • Good presentation skills
