The ideal candidate for the
Mid QA Specialist
is a detail-oriented, curious person, disciplined, well organized with experience in the QA field, and can provide support and assistance to the testing team and to the product team. They have previously worked in a testing position for front-end and back-end projects. They also understand the products and services and their use for our customers.

The role comes with the responsibility of getting empowered to support critical operations from small to very large international airports worldwide.

  • Contract based on PFA or SRL with our UK entity

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases
  • Write and update test cases based on documentation
  • Perform regression and smoke testing
  • Tests new features implemented and effectively documents testing phases
  • Assist the project team in troubleshooting issues
  • Support software engineers in reproducing problems
  • Perform testing activities based on the agreed testing process
  • Write clear and understandable steps to reproduce the bugs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2.5 years experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid English communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to write comprehensive test cases and test plans, locating and solving bugs and errors
  • Understanding of component interaction, able to identify cause from effect
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, etc), MongoDB, and data testing
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills
  • Strong organisational skills: ability to track progress, create lists, organize workload
  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language

Nice to have:

  • Basic ISTQB knowledge
  • Knowledge of performance/load testing
  • Sense of humor

  2. A final technical interview after we review all exercises from step 1, between the candidate and the team
