Job Title: Senior .NET Developer Support & Maintenance

Location: EU (Remote)

Contract Duration: Until December 2025 (with extension potential)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our support and maintenance team, focused on providing 2nd and 3rd line support for our clients existing .NET applications. This is a long-term engagement, with a key emphasis on ensuring service continuity and stability across a suite of business-critical systems.

The role involves addressing incidents, performing bug fixes, and managing maintenance tasks for .NET-based web applications. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line application support for existing .NET applications

  • Investigate, resolve, and document incidents and service requests

  • Maintain, optimize, and enhance legacy systems built in ASP.NET Core

  • Write and manage SQL Server stored procedures

  • Collaborate with other IT and business teams to ensure timely resolution and support

  • Maintain a high standard of code quality and documentation

  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements when needed

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core 7 or higher

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures

  • Familiarity with authentication and identity systems (IAM, Azure AD nice to have)

  • Solid experience in legacy .NET environments without modern ORM frameworks (e.g., no NHibernate, no Entity Framework)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in distributed support environments

  • Familiarity with service continuity planning and multi-resource allocation

  • Prior experience in support roles with long-lifecycle enterprise systems
