What we're looking for

We're seeking a talented
Web Developer
to join our team and play a key role in
optimizing our website
. You'll partner closely with the Marketing team to turn ideas into measurable outcomes, using
React/TypeScript
,

, and

.

What you'll do:

  • Build, maintain, and improve The Brief website with a
    focus
    on
    UX, performance, accessibility, and SEO
  • Develop pages and components with
    React, TypeScript, and
    delivering clean, documented, and testable code
  • Model content in

    (schemas, GROQ, preview, editorial workflows) for scalable publishing
  • Integrate with
    analytics platforms
    (GA4, Meta pixel, etc.) to measure user interactions on website
  • Ensure stable releases through rigorous testing and deployment: debugging, performance profiling, security scans, and requirements validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, performant, accessible, and secure sites (marketing, product, design)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in our industry.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience as a web developer with a strong focus on the
    JavaScript
    ecosystem
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as
    React
    and
    Redux
  • Hands-on experience with

    building production websites
  • Hands-on experience with a headless
    CMS –
    is ideal, but experience with similar platforms is also valuable
  • Experience designing and integrating
    GraphQL
    or RESTful APIs
  • Working knowledge of
    TypeScript
  • Experience with Docker containerization
  • Experience with
    Tailwind CSS
  • Familiarity with
    experimentation tooling
    (Statsig, Optimizely) and best practices for test design and analysis
  • Proficiency in building accessible, responsive, and visually appealing UIs, with a solid understanding of
    UI/UX principles
  • Proactively partner with Marketing to turn ideas into experiments, ship iteratively, and share results that move acquisition and conversion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A sense of ownership and accountability for your work
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively in a product environment
