Introduction:

To complete our team, we are looking for a
Translator with Spanish
language skills.

Responsibilities:

Translation

• Translate questionnaires (Word, XML, Excel), error messages, internal documents, and back-translations of open-ended responses.
• Ensure accuracy, correct terminology, style, and tone in accordance with project instructions.
• Properly adapt cultural references, idiomatic expressions, and non-literal structures.
• Use CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados) and reference materials to maintain consistency and quality.
• Proofread and edit final translations for grammatical correctness and clarity.
• Maintain a daily translation output of around 1500 words.
• Save translations into translation memories and contribute to glossary/terminology updates.

Revision

• Verify and assess client-provided translations for accuracy, style, terminology, and grammar.
• Make necessary corrections to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Coding

• Create code frames (general or detailed, with nets and subnets).
• Code open-ended responses/statements or brands using Ascribe
• Process and check coded files for accuracy and completion.
• Proofread and finalize code frames.

Your profile:

• Language & Education
• Proficiency in Spanish (target language) and English (source language).
• University degree in translation or strong proven linguistic skills.
• Technical & Professional Skills
• Good command of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with translation tools, particularly SDL Trados, is a plus
• Previous translation experience preferred.
• Personal Abilities
• Detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to handle frequent changes, interruptions, and unexpected events.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
