Security Service Design Lead

The role

As SoftwareOne's Global Microsoft Center of Excellence, we identify new business opportunities and work closely with our strategic partner, Microsoft, to design innovative, efficient technology solutions. We stay ahead of technology trends, define best practices, and create architectures to accelerate solution delivery and provide faster time-to-value for our customers. Responsible for global delivery and (Pre-) sales, we define training and enablement requirements across 19 locations, impacting over a thousand employees. As a credible voice in the Microsoft space, we share our expertise at industry events and webinars.

Join our team as Security Service Design Lead and spearhead the development and execution of top-tier services within the organization. Your role will be pivotal in crafting services from inception to delivery, ensuring they align seamlessly with our business objectives. You'll be at the heart of our SoftwareOne Microsoft Center of Excellence, focusing on Support and Managed Services among others.

Main responsibilities:

• Service Delivery Model Design:
  
  Design and implement a best-in-class, cost-efficient service delivery model at both group and regional levels.
• Product Design & Innovation:

Drive the creation of repeatable Microsoft Security solutions and accelerators.
- Strategic Partnership Management:

Lead the technology collaboration with Microsoft, including the realization of joint Security offerings, ensure our offerings are at the groundbreaking of technology and market needs.
- Collaboration & Leadership:

Work closely with regional service units to promote integration and synergy across our Security initiatives.
- Product & Delivery Strategy:

Define and implement delivery and product strategies.
- Delivery Excellence:

Elevate our delivery efforts by developing proposals, solution designs, and architectures, particularly for strategic customers and significant deals. Support drafting demos, POCs, and presales artifacts that underscore our value proposition.
- Advanced Advisories:

Lead our Security Advisory services, employing our established methodology and delivery toolkit.
- SoftwareOne Microsoft Security Portfolio Development:

Setting global delivery standards and integrating repeatable components.
- Delivery Enablement & Thought Leadership:

Design delivery and pre-sales enablement initiatives. Establish yourself as a thought leader through contributions to industry consortia and presence at local and international industry events.

What we need to see from you

• Extensive professional experience, including time as a project or product manager responsible for sophisticated services portfolios or projects - preferably with experience working in an international organisation.
• Experience in service delivery model design and execution
• Deep knowledge of project management standards and methodologies.
• ITIL certification and extensive knowledge of designing services and process flows.
• Detailed understanding of matrix organizational structures and the dynamics in the sales, pre-sales and delivery domains.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Security technology and products. Candidates with relevant technical certifications will be preferred.
• Knowledge of Security concepts like Zero Trust, Threat Protection, Data Protection, SecOps and regulation like NIS2, DORA, CIS.
• Familiarity with Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence) for documentation and product management
• An excellent command of English, both written and spoken, including C-level presentation skills.
• Solid business writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
