Why this role matters We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate C# Developer to join our talented team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and evolving our Travel Commerce Solutions platform - a comprehensive e-commerce system built on Virto Commerce specifically designed for the airline and travel industry. Additionally, you'll contribute to AudioBreeze, our Unity-based 3D audio system. You'll work with a large-scale modular architecture (50+ modules, 350,000+ lines of C# code) handling complex domains like NDC offers, dynamic pricing, inventory management, and payment processing. If you thrive on building robust backend systems and are eager to tackle complex problems in travel technology, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and extend the Travel Commerce Solutions (TCS) platform built on Virto Commerce and .NET
• Work with a modular architecture consisting of 50+ C# modules covering offers, pricing, inventory, orders, and payments
• Implement and optimize backend services for airline e-commerce functionality
• Integrate with IATA NDC APIs and travel industry standards
• Develop features for AudioBreeze, a Unity-based 3D audio system
• Build robust, scalable APIs and services handling complex business logic
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Utilize Docker for containerization and contribute to streamlined development workflows using Git
• Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and knowledge sharing
• Stay abreast of new technologies and continuously seek ways to improve our development practices
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality

• Proven experience as a C# Developer with a strong portfolio of .NET projects
• Deep expertise in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and backend service development
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Experience with modular/microservices architectures
• Knowledge of Entity Framework or similar ORM technologies
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in using AI tools like Cursor, Codex, Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
• Proficiency with version control using Git workflows
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker
• Experience with Virto Commerce or similar e-commerce platforms (bonus)
• Unity development experience for 3D applications (bonus for AudioBreeze work)
• A pragmatic problem-solving mindset and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative, and open-to-learning attitude
• Ability to adapt and manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with travel industry standards (IATA NDC, SSIM format)
• Unity development experience and C# for game/audio engines
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (Datatrans or similar)
• Experience interacting with GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, TypeScript) for full-stack collaboration
• DevOps experience, particularly with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
• Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures

The Deal

• B2B contract or business-incubator
• Salary range up to €35 per hour (gross)
• Work remotely
• $77/month for medical & sport
• $100 birthday bonus + $1,000 loyalty bonus after 3 years
• 3 education days/year
• Budget for courses, conferences, and deep dives
• Summer Camp every year in a cool European city or at beach locations
