We are looking for an experienced
Machine Learning Engineer Instructor
to train and mentor professionals in the full lifecycle of modern ML engineering — from ideation to production. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between theory and practice, empowering learners to design, build, and deploy real-world ML systems with confidence and responsibility.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

You are someone who:

  • Has battle-tested experience in production ML and knows how to make trade-offs.
  • Thrives in mentoring and coaching others, not just building models.
  • Believes in responsible AI, and teaches not just what works — but what's right.
  • Enjoys linking ML concepts directly to business value and real-world use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on, industry-relevant training in applied machine learning, software engineering, and MLOps.
  • Mentor learners in solving real business problems using ML, guiding them through project work, experimentation, and deployment.
  • Translate complex ML concepts into practical, job-ready skills aligned with industry best practices.
  • Support learners in developing the professional, technical, and collaborative skills needed for modern ML roles.
  • Stay current with emerging tools and trends in ML, deployment, and responsible AI.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven ML Engineering experience — You've built, trained, and deployed models in production and understand the lifecycle end-to-end.
  • Advanced Python & Software Engineering – production-quality code with testing, CI/CD, APIs/CLIs, virtual environments, logging, and containerised services (e.g., FastAPI, Docker).
  • Strong background in applied ML, software engineering, and cloud-based or containerized deployment workflows.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and mentor others with empathy, clarity, and structure.
  • Passion for teaching and knowledge sharing, and helping others succeed in their ML careers.
  • (Preferred) Background in education, mentorship, or training — though not essential if you're willing to gain teaching qualifications.
  • (Optional) Assessor/Trainer qualifications or interest in pursuing them.
