Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or relevant role (e.g. market research, data analysis, working with tools like Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Educational background (at least bachelor's degree) in Economics, Statistics, or technical fields – preferably from the Academy of Economic Studies, University of Bucharest, or Politehnica.
  • Previous experience may include roles in statistics, real estate, consultancy, journalism, within Big 4 companies, or within research or data departments in corporations.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, ArcGIS, and AI tools (all four are required).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Experienced in data collection, cleaning, processing, and interpretation.
  • Familiar with public speaking and presenting.
  • Capable of preparing research reports, economic analyses, and similar deliverables.
  • Experience in client and partner interaction.
  • Basic understanding of macroeconomics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data from various sources (internal departments, clients, media, data platforms), clean and input into databases.
  • Maintain, update, and develop local and regional Power BI research dashboards, including custom interfaces.
  • Prepare periodic market reports, thought leadership pieces, client-specific reports (e.g., feasibility studies, market entry analyses), either independently or as part of a team.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations on real estate topics for internal departments and clients.
  • Conduct custom research on specific topics, including non-real estate subjects.
  • Provide research support to business lines, partners, and clients.
  • Develop maps and other data visualization tools.
  • Engage with clients for advisory deliverables, including contract preparation, monitoring, and invoicing.
  • Present research findings using Power BI and PowerPoint in client meetings and events.
  • Conduct surveys and market forecasts.
  • Speak and present at industry events and internal meetings.
  • Support the Head of Research with daily tasks.
  • Take specific online and offline courses.
  • Deliver internal training sessions as needed.
  • Be flexible to take on any other research-related tasks as required in a dynamic environment.
