Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience with Android application development.
  • 1 year of experience with iOS application development

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in API design, performance optimization, client architecture or tools in the mobile space.
  • Knowledge of the iOS user interface and navigation concepts.
  • Knowledge of embedded software development concepts and challenges.
  • Knowledge of the iOS SDK performance profiling tools and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build, and deploy new Wear OS platform capabilities and features.
  • Develop Android software in Kotlin and Java.
  • Work with other engineers to enhance Wear's software components and architecture.
  • Identify, triage, debug, track and resolve issues in existing code.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
