MOL Group is present in Romania since 1993, having complex local operations in fuel retail and wholesale, Petchem, Lubricants and LPG.

We are looking for an exceptional Buyer to join our dynamic Procurement Team Location: Cluj-Napoca/Bucharest
Your manager will be Gabriela Neamţu who is our Procurement & ASM Manager and has grown professionally and personally in MOL Romania since 2005.

As a Buyer you will be responsible for the following:


• Contribute to operational procurement in creating creating SAP agreements, purchase orders, and finding solutions for Procurement SAP-related issues

• Contribute to master data management (materials, vendors, categories) of operational procurement

• Contribute to procurement-related implementation projects

• Conduct sourcing procedures for small to medium-sized tenders and contribute to large tenders within assigned category group.

• Follow defined sourcing process and contribute to implementation of category strategies.

• Conduct contract negotiations and ensure contract implementation

• Actively develop and maintain closer collaboration with other department members in/outside of Procurement based on the area of expertise

• Contribute to monitoring of market developments, innovations and technology trends

• Create contracts according to current financial, legal, HSE, and category management requirements

• Prepare status reports regarding sourcing activities

• Apply best practice methods in order to achieve optimal results for the Company, in accordance with internal procedures.

To be successful in the role, you should have:

• University or College degree preferably in the field of Economics, Engineering or Law

• already gained minimum 1 year of experience as a Buyer

• contract negotiation skills and experience

• very good analytical and communication skills

• knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory environment is a plus

• English and Romanian fluency

• MS Office, eProcurement and ERP system knowledge

• high ethical standards
