Your skills:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship
• Preferably with further training as a specialist in purchasing and/or logistics
• Good knowledge of ERP and MS-Office
• Good knowledge of the operating procedures of a manufacturing company
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Fluent in English, ideally one other language
• Very good communication skills, organisational talent and analytical skills

Your responsibilities:

• Develop supply base and supply chain strategies for each statistical group of materials
• Undertakes supplier management to obtain the best suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain
• Determination of requirements/disposition of the components to be sourced
• Requesting and evaluating offers
• Price negotiations for standard materials and project-specific materials
• Preparation of purchase orders according to economic aspects
• Contract negotiation
• Clarification with engineering and production in case of queries
• Data maintenance in the ERP system
• Execution of supplier evaluations
• Cooperation with operational buyers (material planners) and strategic purchasing colleagues from other sites
